What is a Blondie?

Blondies are sometimes called “blonde brownies,” or even”opposite brownies.”

It’s no secret that both blondies and brownies are moist, rich, and sweet! You can never stop at just one! But the main difference is that brownies are made with chocolate—powdered cocoa, to be exact. And blondies are made without.

So, if brownies are your specialty, try some blondies for a fun change. You can get creative and add pumpkin, or custard for Boston cream blondies too!

How to Make Blondies

It’s deliciously easy to whip up a batch of these beauties!

  1. Melt butter and sugars on the stove. Let cool and then mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together and then add to the butter mixture.
  3. Stir until just combined and then add the white chocolate chips.

Bake until cooked through and cool before cutting serving. If serving warm, top with a scoop of ice cream for a gooey, melty treat!
